I can't take any credit for this month's PBSN post.
Nope. She is the culprit. I hope you click on that link. You seriously need to click the link!
In the last month I have switched to a natural way of cleaning and conditioning my hair. The secret is baking soda and apple cider vinegar.
The results are wonderful! I haven't used shampoo since trying these concoctions. That says a lot because I was an avid shampooer and couldn't comb through my hair without conditioner. Even if I choose not to rinse with apple cider vinegar, I can still comb straight through my hair with nary a tangle. But most importantly, it looks clean, feels clean and is genuinely clean and I can wash my hair for months on a container of baking soda and one bottle of apple cider vinegar. Less product, less chemicals, less waste. I bought two reusable water bottles to keep my supply in. You can also reuse an old shampoo bottle. It is pretty sweet that I am saving money, saving my hair from harsh chemicals and saving the planet all at the same time!
The "shampoo" recipe: Use one tablespoon of baking soda per one cup of warm or hot water.
The "rinse" recipe: Make up a solution of one to two tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) per cup of water.
I should also note that my friend got this recipe from here so we can't take any of the real credit. But you should give it a try.

Your hair looks awesome! And have I ever mentioned you have beautiful eyes? :)
I saw this recipe a few weeks ago, and I've run out to find me some apple cider vinegar. I LOVE this idea!
I've seen this before, I have to admit, but I've been too much of a wuss to do it yet. But I PROMISE I'm going to officially put it on the list of things that will be done. But I'm scared. Really.
Not sure why, as I have gone for weeks without showering before anyway... HAHAHA
