What's with all the numbers man?
I totally slacked off yesterday but had every right to seeing as it was my 5th anniversary and all...
The husband and I slept in a little longer than usual and I made a brunch of cream cheese and strawberry crepes. Later on we caught a movie and I must confess it was one of the sweetest films I've seen in a long time. Of course I should note that I don't go see many movies these days. Too much money, too many kids to appease and frankly, there isn't a lot of films I've been dying to see, but "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" was wonderful! It had a great story line and great actors as well. I recommend heading on over to your nearest theatre to check it out. Hopefully you won't encounter the two hoodlums we did in our theatre.
They thought it was funny to shake our row of chairs throughout much of the film and toward the end, they thought it was cool to stomp loudly and piss off everyone in the theatre. After several people told them to quiet down, I walked over to them, stood in front of their seats and when one of them said, "that's not very nice." I calmly replied, "Neither is stomping loudly in a movie that so many people came to see."
After that I told them that I would get security if they didn't think they could be quiet during the rest of the movie. Their blank stares indicated that maybe they would be loud again so I got someone to come in and kick them out. Truth be told they probably snuck in in the first place. Either way, we watched the rest of the movie in peace.
So after all of that drama we ate at one of our favorite spots. P.F. Changs is expensive but the family style dining makes it a treat for us since we can share our favorite main dishes. We ordered vegetarian noodles, honey chicken, orange peel beef and for dessert, a flourless chocolate dome with raspberry sauce. I wish I would have taken pictures of the food now that I think about it.
It was perfect as far as I'm concerned. A great end to the weekend if you ask me.
